Diamond Pool Finishers

this looks like a great product!!, on site i went and had a talk to the guys building the steam room and while talking to them i noticed that they where fitting the boards to the walls and together with a foam like this , it could be the same stuff but its a lot easier than dot and dab!!

It works and its great......just not for tiling onto. I have used it quite a lot on window reveals and raising cills etc. Worth having a can in the van.

One thing it is great for is when you have a known void on dot and dab boards that have been fitted in the conventional manner. You can punch small holes in teh boards and inject the foam to fill it. I use this method ofr fitting kitchen wall units so the boards dont snap when you do the fixings up.

Replaced a damaged bit of wall this week that was dot n dab. So I cut out the damaged part and as you said in your post used the foam to strengthen the part of the board. Still used bagged stuff for the half board I replaced tho.
