I had a potential customer once pick my brain for weeks, question after question, and I really went on too long with him for some reason.
I priced the job eventually after he made up his mind, and then he said he'd do the work himself because 1. I taught him enough about tile and how hard can it be? and 2. he had built his deck and felt that he could easily transition to tile.
OK fine I said, and off I went to another job.
Then, I got the call: He wanted me to order the materials for him through my account at the supply house (they don't sell to non-tradesman) AND he wanted me to help him estimate the materials. :incazzato:

I'd almost consider doing the job so I can meet Jay and see England.
Wait a minute...when I make it to England it IS NOT going to have anything to do with work.
