theyre going up the vein in my groin and touch my ticker with electric shocks to map out the csar tissue causing arrithmya

when theyve mapped it theyre gonna laser it off,i aint looking forward to it cos im AWAKE:yikes: while they do it:mad2::incazzato:

good luck Steve. remember to take it easy when you're back home and supposedly resting.

And if you're awake whilst they're doing the op, does that mean you get to talk at the same time? If so, make sure everybody in the OR knows how poor the tiling is on the walls and floor :lol:

nothing to worry about mate, you will feel a little prick [no change there then] and thats it

I was able to watch it all on the screen and they talked to me right through it,

it is a main artery so you have to lay on your back for a few hours after while the hole stops bleeding

you will be amazed at the instant improvement to your heart and how much better you will feel

Yep as Mike said... haven't been through it myself but a close friend has, she was scared as hell beforehand and then pleasantly surprised, there are no nerves along the line, so it's ok really. Just do as you're told.... you'll be fine, really. And then let me know how you get on, I have had the same problem....

thanks peeps,i didnt go well as in they told me there was a 70% sucsess rate,somehow i knew i was destined for the 30:lol:

generally not a nice thing to have done,so much that i refused a second attempt

lying there for 2 & 1/2 hours while they poke around was bad enough ,but when they started burning,now thats hot ,right inside your ticker,we both agreed to stick with the beta blockers for now
