Dmg world media regret to announce the postponement of kbbreview EXPO incorporating Tile and Stone and Floorstyle, which was due to run at Excel 10th-12th May 2009.

EXPO has been serving and supporting the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry in London since 2001 and is a very successful concept and brand. However, it has become clear that the current extraordinary economic climate has meant potential exhibitors are making tough strategic decisions and they cannot be present at the 2009 show.

Dmg world media publishing and events director Patrick Taylor said:

"The economic downturn has hit this industry hard and it has become clear that potential exhibitors do not need the added strain of sustaining a 2009 London show. In the hundreds of conversations we've had, the vast majority of suppliers and manufacturers are saying they have made a strategic decision to not exhibit in London in 2009 and we respect and understand that. Kbbreview is now in its 25th year and we've reached that milestone by always supporting and listening to the industry."

Re: KBB/expo/Tile & stone show 2009 cancelled.

If anyone is disappointed and having exhibition withdrawal well we are at Ideal Home Show (for 25 days) from 25th March to 13th April so if you are starved of somewhere to go in and around London and gutted your exhibition calender has hit the deck then we can promise a free cup of coffee at our stand... Ideal Home

Of course Ideal Home Show is not tile focused but there's plenty to see for a day out over Easter. Dont turn your nose up! A cup of coffee at Earls Court is £4.95 !

And for those of you who need a free bacon roll and a tee-shirt we also do the ToolFair shows four times a year. ToolFair Details

Latest show is Yorkshire Event Centre, Harrogate

12th & 13 March 2009

Re: KBB/expo/Tile & stone show 2009 cancelled.

I think all persons involved with an exhibition such as this in this financial climate beginning with the venue owners and working down through the steps should be pulling together and make this show happen. Be standing up and making a statement of support for the industry not negativity.

I'm not saying give away services but show to be helping and pull together instead of creaming off which is the norm.

It costs thousands for companies to exhibit at these shows and they support when and where they can........may be time the people behind these shows gave a little support to those who support them year after year.

If it were a micky jacson gig they would be raiding their piggy banks to make sure it went ahead.

Show a little faith because without exhibitors and supporters you really only got a shed with lights.

Re: KBB/expo/Tile & stone show 2009 cancelled.

Hey Hillhead not doing anything in Ireland this year but we just met with tilestyle.ie when I flew into Dublin and met the guys.

That is ONE BIG showroom. In fact the biggest in Europe... And our stuff is going in there. So we finally got into Ireland! They do have shows over there and if you want to tell us whatever ones you like then we can look at it. Never say Never. But have a look at tilestyle because I was well impressed with the set up
