Tile Cutter

Hi all new to this so here goes!
I'm a plumber by trade but do a fair bit of tilling due to fact that I've helped my uncle who has been a tiler for 50 years up until his retirement so carry on do it myself. I've have to do a bathroom and they have chosen 900 mm tiles bigger than what I've done before I'm going to get a second hand cutter maybe new if the price is right what would any of you recommend. I've use a tx 700n and I've seen tx1200 but was thinking of a big clinker new?

I would personally get one that does 1 metre cuts, I have a 900 cutter but have to use my 1200 for the metre cuts but at the end of the day it's your choice.

I would go for a Sigma personally....could also check ebay for any cutters but would stick with a good make due to so many larger formats tiles out there at the moment you would need perhaps for future works.

Not a bad price, don't leave it in your vehicle on a hot day, the beds are glued down and can soften when hot and can move...happened to me one time.

Interesting will have to remember that, not that the 1200 lives in the van as it gets in the way

Left mine on it's side in the van for a few days in the summer, had a real struggle to get the pads back to sit in position

You Could also hire a cutter if you think the outlay isnt required at present.

The clinker IMHO can show signs of wear and tear pretty quickly and not score true.

Check out eBay for a bargain sprung bed cutter.
