tile cutters

I plumped for a Montolit Brooklyn 920 (from the people at kw*k spl*t).
Last year it cost me £660 inc vat & delivery. Very very pleased with it.
It's no frills, but very powerful and accurate and with none of the vibration problems which seem to trouble rubis.

i have a rodia 207 bridge cutter , superb build quality relatively light (43 kg with the legs) and it cost 750 sheets all in .. dont buy the cheap topps bridge its false economy you would be better renting one till you can afford one , i have also heard about poor build quality in the rubi saws...

i was looking at the one in topps but it would probably be wise to buy one that will cut all size tiles.

Anyone else tried the Norton M108? Very light 22KG The build quality is brilliant! I had one small fault the motor went after a week of cutting 600 x 600 Porcs but Norton shipped me a new motor within 72 hrs from luxembourg and never had a problem since. I cut natural stone inc loads of granite on it and never had a problem. Pretty difficult to get hold of I think but they are around £600 ish:thumbsup:
