tile damp? (photo)

Hi

Few days ago I started tiling the floor. This section (see photo), is under the toilet and there was a small amount water spilt onto the hardibacker before tiling. I noticed today some discolouration / dampness come through the ceramic floor tiles. See top area of tiles where they meet and grout.
Is this going to be a problem , or just needs time to dry out?

Are the tiles ceramic or travertine if they are travertine they will suck up the water which is discoloured from the backer board and stain them. Only way to correct is to take them up and start again when dry m8. They look like travertine to me.

Theyre ceramic tiles. Been down for about a week and just noticed them today. Not sure if some water got on since then, as I`m installing the wc at the moment. Fortunatly if it does stay it is covered by the toilet mostly.

No, had the hardibacker down for a week or two before tiling. No dampness then, was from when I removed the flush pipe from the wc when testing the plumping that the tiles/hardibacker got wet. Just wouldve thought it wouldve dried up by now. Been a few days.

dont worry it,ll dry out a a day or two

Typical, today I woke up and checked and its dried and almost disappeared. Panic over.
