Tile moving, underfloor heating cable underneath...What to do?

Hi everyone!3 months ago I've tiled my kitchen with an underfloor heating cable underneath( originally it was a bitumen floor, what I've done: I've laid a insulation floor boards using a flexible tile glue installed heating cables and and laid my tiles straight on the top ) everything went o.k, until I've noticed that couple of tiles moving(grout coming off).Don' know what to do. Looks like another massive job:smash:

Loads more onfo required, What tiles, adhesive and grout. How long before ufh was turned on

Polished porcelain floor tiles, evo-stik flexible tile adhesive, ultra flexjoint grout. Ufh wasn't on at least a week after installation.

When you turned the ufh on, how did you go about this process..?..

i know this may seem a stupid question to ask,but was it tubbed addy you used?

I've started from 18 degrees and then added 1 degree every day.
About tubes , no I've used 20 kg bags.

If its only a couple of tiles moving,try lifting them out without breaking them,if not use new tiles,Clean the old addy off the floor,being careful with the UFH wires,check the floor is solid then simply refix the tiles and re-grout

just another silly question mate,but you DID have good coverage on the rear of the tiles didnt you?

you could use BAL APD mate BAL Adhesives - Products - prime APD or

Did you stick the boards onto bitumen ? if so are they loose?

From what i can gather that stuff is for Ceramics

not really mate,it would just be a case of removing the grout and trying to get something behind the tile to lift it,if it wont lift you will have to break it out

Yes I've sticked boards on to bitumen with the same addy. Don't think they are loose.
The boards I've used Klima Foam Insulation Pack of 8 - NoLinksToThis, Where the Trade Buys

am i correct in thinking that you have stuck the insulating boards direct to the bitumen with you floor tile addy?

Certain substrates can be very difficult to reliably tile in a conventional manner. Existing asphalt contains oils which make it very hard to adhere to.
Maybe an uncoupling membrane such as ditra matting might of been a better choice. From past experiance I tiled my own kitchen floor( my first tiling job)
didn't have any problems with it but a few years on decided to have a change. And I can tell you these tiles came up easy.
