Thanks United thats why I have joined this forum!I read the link and was wondering If there was a primer that you could recommend that doesent cost an arm and a leg and might be available from most suppliers?

It's all good advice above. One other point to consider is the efficiency of the UFH under 2 layers of tiles :yikes:.

Incidentally, I use Ardex P82 epoxy primer for dense substrates.
