In my kitchen I currently have a laminate floor which as been less than successful although it was pretty cheap stuff five or six years ago. I laid it on top of quarry tiles. They are not old ones being only about twenty years old. Anyway we laid the laminate because it was a devils on job keeping them clean. That was long before I came on here and learned about tile sealing. I am now thinking about removing the laminate lifting the quarries(some are already loose) relaying them in a different pattern, probably diagonal rather than parallel to the walls and using them as the finished floor. They are clay quarries which were from wickes and they are not sealed in any way.
questions : Should these tiles ave been sealed and if I do sel them will tha make them easier to keep clean generally speaking. How often should they then be resealed
thanks in advance.
