thanks for the advice, ive managed to get a plasplugs washboy for £15 may wel need new sponges by the sound of things but nevermind :yes:

MrSpoon, I understand the problem with cashflow but you've got to listen to sence! I've got a Rubi washboy and as Dave says they are worth every penny, if cash is that tight and you haven't committed to too many jobs yet then why not just make do with the "old fashioned way" for this one?

Once the trusty old van has got through the MOT then use £40 to buy a washboy.

the van wont be going for its MOT at this rate anyway :mad2: tho i will be getting my works bonus on the 20th! luckily.
and £15 for a brand new washboy isnt bad atall, if i do decide to upgrade then it'll make a nice spare

Phoned a tiler mate there and he tells me a local shop here sells sigma ones,absolutely brilliant he says !! 40 or 45 £ !! sound good to me as im a sigma cutter freak.

didnt even know they sold em, i personally wouldnt go on what a mate has said as its usually just hype cos they are pleased but dont really know what problems they could produce, but on the otherhand it could be top notch! tho if theres a CTD nearby they bhave the rubi ones for £35? or 40? i dunno iforget now but its in here somewhere and theyve been tried tested and regularly used by many on here with high recommendations
