How much is the Tiletracker and how much does a professional tiler spend on timber battens, on average, a year?

I have no idea how much this tiletracker is but if it was about £15.99 I might give it a go. As for battens I do not spend one penny on them in fact I hardly ever use them. I would normally put the bottom cut in to a datum line first and go off that.

I use my laser and usually cut first row in first.Last week while tiling a bathroom wall in 300 x 600 porcelain i needed to start a row up cause the shower tray wasnt yet fitted.so i got my ruby stands out and an aluminium 2m straight edge, used my laser to get it set up and cracked on with the wall.3 hrs later as i was cutting the top tiles in to the ceiling i commented to the plumber on site how unlevel the ceiling in this house is.............................................................then i turned the laser back on for a sec and........................................********.One of the stands had dropped bout 10mm:mad2:. I had a late finish that day:thumbsdown:

I'm gonna try this cutting bottom row in 1st one time to see how I get on, I currently use 2 x 1 wood.
put the bottom course in with rappid set that way they would be set when you start tilling off them it takes pratice but your not going back putting cuts in you tile a wall finnish a wall:8:

The Tiletracker now comes in shorter lengths and can be easily clamped together. You can now make up any length between .25m and 2.25m in increments of .25m so we've done the hacksawing for you! and it's lighter so now better for kitchens too.

Kitchens have a Worktop?? Where would you use it in a kitchen!!!

surprisingly, not all worktops are level!! same principle as bathrooms - NEVER tile off the floor, skirting board, bath or shower edge which I'm sure you never do?

If it's that far out of level you don't tile it!!
If its slightly out that's where you can use plastic wedges to level it up. So what do you do if the sockets are in the way of the tracker???there must be somewhere it can't be used ;)
