Tile trim

Hi everyone
Just moved into a new house and the bathroom tiles do not have the trim on them, Is it possible to fit the trim even at this late stage.

afraid not the trim is made to go under the tile so will mean lifting the front of the tile
have you got any spare tiles?

No not got any spare tiles, thought maybe i could trim off the bit that is suppose to go behind the tile and just stick the top bit on,

You can yes but you will have to work neat..

But if you have external corners with no edging then you cannot do it.. just edges to walls.. like half tiled etc. but tile to tile edges then no..

trouble is if you do that it will stick out proud,.........if you were tiling a window cill,then you would tile all round the window first, then fit the trim to the inside, then tile the inside of the window butting up to the trim and making it flush with tiles around the window, so the tiles on the inside of the window are set back the thickness of the trim, so to fix it after would meen the trim would stand proud.

are the edges of the tiles glazed ?

Tiling is just on a flat wall no sills or external corners. Just from ceiling 8 tiles down, and then to the wall 10 tiles, In an L shape.

you could always try cutting the back of the trim off and silicone the trim on, obviously not the preferred way, but if you are unhappy without it it's easier than removing tiles..
