Hi there
I have been doing my sons bathroom in old victorian house. Wall so bad that I have had to build new wall with exterior grade plywood on 3x2 battens.
Part of this will be in a new shower cubicle which i have nearly plumbed in.
I am now worried about the use of exterior grade ply in the shower area in particlar.
The last thing I want to do is remove the ply, which is 18mm .
Could I use the ply with a treatment prior to tiling or could I place a moisture resitant board on top of the ply in this area.
Where I have the ply behind toilet etc ( not wet as such , could you please advise on a suitable pre- tre-treatment for the wall. this only to dado height ( 10000MM)
any help gatefully received
