I’m tempted to try the gaffer tape test on the TM. Judging by how well it sticks to my fingers and other things I’ve inadvertantly ‘glued’ I’d imagine the paper face of the plasterboard would come off.

A plaster and gaffer tape test would also be good.

I wonder what tests they do at Tilemaster HQ?

I’m getting quite sad and Anal about all of this now.

Not used the tm paste but some of the others are terrible. Ardex wpc is the best I've used and isomat sl17 and the dukka one are good for single part. I'll have to give the tm one a blast

I had to cut a niche out today of a previously tanked wall. The Tilemaster stuck well. Pulled off the paper face of the plasterboard which ties in with the tanking not reducing the weight limit of plasterboard.

I used to use a lot of Kerdi and Homelux matting but found that as I do domestic stuff, I prefer the paint on as the majority of my work has a Shower Tray or Bath.

Wet rooms I tend to revert back to Kerdi if it warrants it.
