I'v seen a plumber use a silicon gun.. to go from a push fit joint to a adhesive joint, cos he couldn't be bothered to sort it properly.

one of my lads has just done his plumbing papers fully qualified in 8 weeks, he was on the course with released prisoners referred by the probation service, all passed it, its why there is such a high percentage of con men and rogue traders in the plumbing business

I wouldnt be so sure about that.

I trained as a Tiler after i got out, I looked into re-training to be a plumber but i didnt find it mentally stimulating enough.

You know the thing, sticking lengths of pipe together & stuff like that, I prefer a bit more of a challenge. :lol::lol:
