Ohh, what a drag...

Im sat here, I've got 4 days off, well this is my 3rd so far, no tiling jobs on for this week and back on my shift job wednesday.
My own bathroom and kitchen has little bits of work left to do in them, but between my shift job, then my tiling, I often end up being busy 7 days a week, week on end.

But now I've actually got a few days off, I can't be assed doing my own bits of tiling that need still need doing, lol

My poor suffering wife, she must think "brilliant, we'll always have a nice tiled bathroom and kitchen for life", ohh how wrong could she have been :p

Yeah 98% is nicely tiled, it's just getting round to the last 2% lol

Thing is, if the phone rang and someone wanted a splashback or whatever starting straight away, it would be "grab tools and fly out the door".

Do many of you ever feel like this, or is it just me being a friggin lazy ***, :D

Lady agrees !

Hey guys - I'm a lady decorator and tiler and my house has lots of half finished jobs !

I agree when you get home the last thing you want to do is start work all over again!

I used to moan at my ex for not finishing diy jobs before I started in this profession, but now can totally empathise!

Shame there isn't a thing like Multi-Coloured Swap Shop for doing each others jobs for point system!

Welcome aboard. Please checkout our Contractor Forum | Construction and Redevelopment Advice for Professional Contractors and Tradesmen too. But yeah, a pints system would go down well!
