tilers who have lived abroad...

Ive noticed in my language thread a few of ya have lived abroad for a few years... Did you make your living tiling overseas.. Or was it savings?... If you worked as a tiler how much did it differ would like to know cuz its pretty interesting ive been told that the ozzies have higher standards of quality... Where have you been? And what was the tiling like?... Cheers

Yeah Australia for me and it was ace, the best and standard of living was 300 % better than here IMO. Tiling quality was the same, some very good some bad and some in between. No different really.

New Zealand for me, awesome place, great standard of living, same as sir ramic for the tiling, some good some bad.

Never tiled abroad but lived in Germany for three years, and can vouch for Aus' backpacked there for a few months and loved loved loved every minute of it.
