TilersForums.co.uk gets updated as much as BBC website

The BBC.co.uk website is one of the largest websites in the UK. It has blogs, sub-websites, and lots of interactive features which people watch/listen to or respond to.

The BBC website is updated every minute, and we're pleased to boast that tilersforums is also contributed to on average just as much. A post is made every 40-odd seconds on average, and a picture is uploaded ever 37 minutes! (you don't want to know the trouble I went through to get those figures accurate lol).

So well done to all for keeping this website up to date with all the topics you're contributing to, and all the pictures you're uploading!

Yeah there is a bit, but as always it's the members that allow us to boast such a thing. I'm sure Dave could keep the posts up if there was only him here but it'd be pretty boring just Dave talking to himself.

Dan, is trustedtradesmen on the same par?

Hell no. Not a patch on the tilersforums traffic. FindTrustedTradesmen is one of the highest ranking websites for it's category. And all listings get automatically optimised. But customers just don't search for tilers on the net as much as they'd use their tile shop and the likes. We get just as much traffic on here for customers searching for tilers, if not more traffic, than our FTT website.

It's the reason I haven't updated it for ages.

You're best off with your own website advertising yourself, and customers ONLY see you then on your website. And you have a bigger chance of getting the call.

We're just about to take on a sponsor (it's actually a current sponsor with a system they've had made for their training centre students) who has a brilliant website building thing that even the lads grandad could use (he was the tester lol) and we'll be advertising that on the forums, and I'd strongly recommend using anything like this, but this will be coming on here at a really decent cost in the hope loads of the members use it, therefore they'd still make a bit of cash on it too.

The first couple of thousand wouldn't pull in the cost they've spent making the system. But they have a fair few hundred traders they've trained themselves, and hopefully we'll get the rest of the business for them via here eventually.

Our FTT website is one of the busiest of it's type, but it's nowhere near as busy as tilersforums.com.

It's probably worth saying too: The BBC website is physically updated every minute. Meaning a new reporter or something similar has written a new blog post or something. tilersforums.com is updated every minute but perhaps some of the posts are just agreeing to the one above. Though I'm sure you'll agree that this place is really really busy
