I thought they setup the site so that they can promote BAL.

I got registered by CTD many years ago and I couldn't remember the password they used for me - so I never got to go on it.
Then while 'surfing' to some Beach Boys music one Saturday morning in 2009, I stumbled across TILERS FORUM and as they say the rest is history.

That is what annoyed me, coz when CTD registered all tilers , the used something as a user name they should never of used IMHO.. hence why i kicked off with them and got deleted from TW..

I wanted to be called Dave, but they said that user name was banned so I had to go under 'ginger winger' - I wouldn't have minded but I lost my hair 35 years ago!

I think they also registered tilers without their permission if I remember rightly. Bit of a DPA breach there.

It is a shame mate you're right. We need a whole load more of these free websites online really. As much free info as possible aint a bad thing.

Seems it had quite an investment so not sure what it is that they didn't have as they certainly had the clout behind it.

They did the speed tiler thing too if you remember. I think that was to help promote it wasn't it?
