After a hard weeks graft and also not wanting to take time off work, how many of you want to spend time tiling at home ?
Did my kitchen splashbacks when moved in, just as I had gone on my course. Bathroom still remains as it was when we bought house, keep meaning to get round to it. Have just done dining room floor in slate, next job is to rip up existing slate tiles in kitchen and hall and re-do.
Just never seem to get time or be bothered to do it, bad really ! Not a good advert when people come to house, I always feel the need to explain that I have not tiled my bathroom and kitchen ( just in case they think it is my dodgy work ) Will really have to get my act together this year and get them done !

After 7 months, I've only got the speakers and disco lights left to fit in the bathroom!

Next project is the en-suite wetroom. Mrs Slow wants it done by August, I reckon next Jan / Feb at the earliest!

Then I've got to do the kitchen / Hall / bog floor as the tiles were here when we moved in and I hate them more every day that I look at them.

It's really my 10 yr old daughters bathroom, so she's got the jaccuzzi bath and disco effect. This is the same bathroom that I have stuffed glitter grout into the floor joints which does look the dogs danglies. Might stick up a disco ball in there too :yikes:. LOL

Funnily enough, i was going to post similar to this - once i got round to re-tiling my bathroom. I moved in to my gaff 3 years ago and had a new bathroom fitted - this was before i re-trained as a tiler! Well - the workmanship is so shocking i can't stand to look at it. In fact i feel some rouge photos will be in order 3-4 mm lippage on the walls....just not on.
Still don't have the inclination to change it - too much like going to work and not getting paid for it.
