Our bathroom is taking up the slack at the moment.

Since I started it I've done 6 complete bathrooms refits including one wetroom and a load of other work, for other clients We now have a working bath and the shower cubicle is in.

It's having to take a back seat again as I'm doing a few odd jobs in one of our rental properties to get it ready to let - anyone need a 1 bed place to rent in Cornwall, nice views?

Trouble is when you do one thing that's not the end of it.

Did the kitchen and utility last year now she wants the main bathroom, which only visitors use, done. Has a pale grey suite which she wants changed for white.

My daughter said it was a good idea as if we want to sell people want white. Tried to explain that the next time the place is likely to go on the market will be when we have both popped our clogs, hopefully some way off, and by that time coloured suites will probably be back in favour, so in fact I am ahead of fashion - didn't go down to well.

I have gone berserk in the last month, Jan 2nd ripped out brick wall in bathroom, wetroom roll top bath etc, fully tiled, decorated back bedroom, moved in there and decorated main bedroom, this lot was long overdue and planned to coincide possible quiet period after xmas, fitted a couple of customer bathrooms in the meantime.
Put new doors in upstairs on wednesday, I had forgot what a lot of work goes into hanging a door, especially when every frame is out of square, the builders were on lsd when this house was built in the 60s. I need a rest now.

i tiled my bathroom floor before i started tiling then found i had a nasty leak under the floor boards so they had to come up. re fixed them only to have the leak return (last time i let my father in law fix a simple leak) so after lifting for the 2nd time i put down some nice and easy vinyl. lol

now wife wants kitchen floor tiled and shes all ''you can over order and sort the b-room while your at it!!

dont mind at all as i'm new to it and can do with the pics for portfolio
