I am sorry if i upset any one in advance. I am a yorkshire man through and through and know and hear lots about tiling centres shops the usuall bla bla bla the 1 thing i will say in Favour i have not heard any negative feedbac kabout thier course and if i was considering going on a course would choose them rather than the other centre "no names mentioned" in Doncaster who i have heard constant bad comments from people wanting to enter the tiling arena. Sad fat is that these Courses operate many different pracices but the 1 thing they all have in common is take your money in full atleast a week before your start date then it is a case of take it or leave it. If i had the money i would most definately say to any one wanting to go onto the course pay half in advanceand half upon completion. I know many of you will think this is all too easy for Raja to say but it is true i would and pray to God that 1 day there is a tile training centre in yorkshire that does follow this rule of pay half now half later. I can understand that these practices are open to alot of abuse by a minority but not the larger Majority.

I see the point you are trying to make about payments. i don't think it is an idea that will catch on though. Bit like buying a tin of beans from the corner shop and paying half when you collect it and then the balance when you have eaten them. Not the best business model really.

i know grumpy what you mean but have seen some folk in tears nearly thanks to 1 particular so called training centre in Doncaster the nice looking girl takes the call asks you to visit the nice LOOKING unit in a business park low cut top blonde hair would even persuade Saiton then 4 weeks later course time No Nice looking girl just 2 tilers who cut corners on everything 6 people in total said the same thing to me over the past year on the sheffield forum and 2 people in person

I know where you are coming from. Hopefully if enough negative feedback is posted on the forums here (and others) then people can make an informed choice. If prospective trainees stop calling them, then they have no business and will shut the doors. Bad reps spread faster than good ones, so hopefully it won't be long before they pack it in.

Yeah, it's a sad fact of life that anyone providing a terrible service will most probably stay in business one way or another for a long time.

Yes, bad reps spread quicker than good ones, but theres always enough of a flow of new customers that won't of heard all the bad feedback and still pay their good money to, and not get what they really should have done.

Just ask my wife
