Hi Kev

Welcome to the forums.

We at Chase Tiling Academy offer 1,2 and 4 week courses, as well as the ICA (Intermediate Construction Award) & NVQ Level 2 Assessment.

We are in the process of accrediting our 1,2 & 4 week courses with the NOCN and these should be rolling out with our next intake in August 07- This is a QCA recognised development qualification at Level 1 or 2 (Depending on what course you do).

Your tutor is a qualified Tiler, Teacher and A1 assessor and we are an accredited City & Guilds / Construction Skills centre to deliver training in Wall & Floor Tiling.

Please look at our website at Tiling Course provider, Chase Tiling Academy for further information, costing and what you will learn.

Best Regards,

Margaret.

Yeah, because north east (tyne & wear) is definately in the midlands area

Where abouts are you from Kev? Chase is worth a look, there are two centres based in coventry as well. Also, south birmingham college does a tiling course, but that is a longer college course not an intensive once... proper qualification afterwards though.

The theconstructioncollege.org offer a tiling course, they are based in leamington (warwickshire?) and they also do plumbing and I am lead to believe they offer CSCS training (whatever that is)...

uhmmm, there must be more but those are just the centres I considered before doing my course.
