Tiling Courses

Good morning everyone,

I am new to this forum. The reason i have joined is that i am considering taking up tiling as a full time work.
I have undertaken a few tiling jobs around the house bathroom, kitchen act which the wife deems they are quite pleasing on the eye, it's like getting a recommendation for a knighthood:yikes:. After i got up off the floor i thought, well i quite enjoy it and could do with a change of trade but would like to enroll on a local tiling course.

I live around Colchester area so if anyone could reccomend a course i would be grateful. Also is there a recognised qualification amongst you guys that gets you work or just word of mouth?

NVQ for site work, but generally just word of mouth.. Try to get in with a local plumber/bathroom fitter.. Good luck with it, and welcome to the forum

I've been working on sites for the last 5/6 years with a basic CSCS card, no NVQ and never had a problem!
