tiling curved walls?

Hi guys,

i am working on a victorian property which has curved walls.
haven't tiled on curved walls before and would really like to hear how you tackle it.
the tiles will be a victorian brick effect only going to waist height.

any pics or examples i could check out?

If you are tiling curved walls in brick effect then it be impossible to avoid not splitting them to get the curve..other wise you will get loads of kicks....It is not really the best pattern to tile curved walls with....are they internal or external corners....good luck with it anyway...

not sure ive explained myself right.
it is a bathroom and the room is not square but has 5 walls. has loadsa character. the curve is external so i was confused as too how to tackle it. know the tiles will make it difficult but i really think the victorian look will look best. was maybe gonna pack it out to square it off? might just bottle it and paint it and leave as a feature wall as a towell rad is gonna be om it.

If it wasn't brick bond then you have a chance of wrapping them around the bend but brick bond!! then no chance of a neat finish as far as i can see.....

Maybe consider a mosaic to compliment the style.... the curve would be easily dealt with,and make lovely feature..further to that it gives you an option to insert some mosaic into your tiles ....this would link it all and give some relief......Gaz
