Tiling dot and dabbed board.

Hi all I have searched this question but with no clear answers.

I want to dot and dab plasterboard onto concrete block wall ready for tiling 6mm ceramics. Will this be ok with regards to weight limit issues or should I batten the wall and then screw the board on ready for tiling.

as long as you get plenty of dri-wall adhesive on your block wall it'll be fine.

they'll be fine...
dont forget, when you dab your boards, you want a full bed of board adhesive all around the perimeter (skirting line / ceiling line and either end of the wall) aswell as a full bed around any switches and sockets....speread the dabbs as nornal for the rest of the area ;0)

you should teech this method to the plasterboarders down here m8!

And up here too! Kitchen i did this time last year had a hell of a draft coming under the boards.
