doing an ensuite at the weekend . shower is on the left toilet straight ahead window and sink on the right. where would you start tiling???? i was thinking of starting on the left next to the door doing the shower first.obviously altering the starting point to follow around the room . finishing in the corner behind the door... your opinions appreciated.. many thanks. also charging £350 .. 17 m2. large tiles 330* 250. with a wide border. does this sound like a fair price??? also i will make a bit extra on adhesives on top. would 3 tubs of white star be enough and a 10kl bag of grout... cheers.. ****ting it again

I normally start out from the window "centered"and work outwards, depending on how cuts fall, and adjust accordingly.

I estimate 4 sqm per tub of whitestar, then your never going to end up short.

Grout wise you should be fine with 2 or 3 mm spacings.

Think you will need more adhesive mate. 5 or 6 more likely. Better to look at it than look for it as they say!!. All jobs start differently but good advice from fekin. Take your time setting out as this is really important and will either make it a good job or a not so good job. Just take everything into account like windows, sills, door heights etc and make sure you dont end up with unsightly thin cuts.

I thought my post would be edited, but the mods, or Dan should really be changing the names of some of the games in the arcade, as editing someone saying a games name, but the games name still being displayed in the same thread is a bit...... contradicting :huh2:

That adam i will put forward to admin.if you wish......but as for swearing in posts then an ELITE MEMBER SHOULD KNOW BETTER....

Not really, I was saying a name of a game that if freely viewed and played on the arcade and is freely shown to all visitors of any age that view anyones posts that displays they are the champion of the game in question

Now if this game had a different name and I just wrote the word in question as it's normally said then that would have been entirely different.

Tricky one.... init
