Yes on all sites (and depending on the length of the job) it can dictate what you can conveniently carry about.
For example I would not bother lugging my overhead radial saw up three flights of steps!

Lugging this thing about is cumbersome.

The other thing is how much mess.... For example in this shot as well
as the two tile cutters (Radial and small) you can see the addy mixer.

Now we all know how much dust a bag of addy can make! So on this
job EVERYTHING is cut and mixed outside then carried up to the job.
Tiles were cut. Addy Mixed. But the weather was favourable.
