Customer: So how did you get into tiling, where did you learn etc.

Me: Well, I actually learnt the trade whilst in prison serving 5 years for GBH.

Customer, no reply - I don't think she knew what to say. I did tell her I was joking the next day.

Sat on site having a pasty this week whilst a spark was pitting junction/connections in for downlighters. About 30 of them. Fir every strand or cut of wire he dropped I threw something at him. He soon got the message and started using his dog pockets.
