tiling on artex

can anyone give me some advice

just done a quote for downstairs toilet but the walls are covered in artex

what do i have to be able to tile on this

Scrape it off the walls mate.

use a steam stripper to remove it.. or if its a light pattern then a strong scraper will remove it..then usual priming and tile.....dave...

If its a pretty pattern suggest they keep it...why tile ?
