tiling on plasterboard

Hi, i am doing up my bathroom and just about to start tiling the wall around the bath.The tiles are marble porcelain laminate 12mmx600mmx400mm, i have mapei keraflex maxi to fix them to the wall and mapei primer g to prime the wall beforehand.The bath is already fixed in position so will it be ok to just tile to the plasterboard, thanks.

Normally I would just tile onto the plasterboard but read manufacturers instruction just to be doubley sure...
