Hi Mark m8,make sure tiles are solidly fixed and either self level and tile on top or make sure tiles are free from any grime etc and tile on top of tiles.

Where the substrates meet you will need to put a 5mm expansion joint.
A solid bed of adhesive is also recommended to maximize the strenght of bond.
Use a rapid flex adhesive and leave it longer than normal before grouting to allow the water to escape the system.
Lastly use a flexi grout.

Hope this is of help m8,Bri:thumbsup:

Hi Brian,

Thanks for that the customer has already had tiles laid but not happy with what they have done. They are refitting the shop and the company decided to tile the floor first the floor is in a right mess, there is grout and adhesive stuck on a lot of the tiles plus all the foot traffic the list goes on...

Many thanks again

Mark
