hi guys
went to look at a job today to tile floor in an open plan appartment at the min there is laminate wood flooring covering the whole area with is lifting and bowing due to the ufh luckily there is access to the controls to the ufh pipes so yo can see what the substrate is .the pipes are laid into poly insulation the type with the channels in for pipes to follow then there is thin layer of cheap laminate insulation then the laminate ,right now for the ? would self leveller over the ufh pipes be ok to tile onto or would you need something thicker, customer not sure what tiles going down ,just worried about tile movement due to the heating obv will be using flex adh and grout regardless any help v greatful
