tiling onto 1st floor solid concrete floor

am pricing a kitchen floor in a first floor flatthat is 10m2, the base is solid concrete (have been advised at least 6 inchs) do i need to use ply?

the floor is very flat and level

on this matter has anyone use DITRA matting??

I would be tempted to use the ditra sound proofing under the tiles, The tiled floor could be noisy for the resident below. Have heard where some landlords would not allow tiling and laminate flooring in the flats because of the noise

The DURABASE SW „silent walk“ comprises mats just 2.8 mm thick, made of compressed synthetic fiber and possessing very favorable sound and thermal insulation characteristics. These mats decouple floor tiling from its foundation, lower the level of reflected sound by as much as 20 dB and achieve reductions in the transmission of footfall sound comparable with the performance of tile insulating slabs up to 9 mm thick.
They also insulate tiles to a great degree against cold substrates

Use it with Flexible adhesive or BAL Acousti-bond

Regupol is a sound insulation material used for underfloor impact sound reduction. It is made from recycled rubber and cork with a polyurethane binder, and is suitable for use under most floor finishes, as well as between structural floor elements.
Regupol is an excellent use of recycled rubber. It is supplied in rolls of 3mm and 5mm thicknesses and is easy to install. It is temperature resistant from - 40 °C up to +110°C.
Regupol can be used to reduce noise on stairs (5mm recommended) and impact sound from hard floor finishes. It can be installed in strips on top of joists, or in rolls between floor elements to minimise the transmission of impact noise from above to below. It can also be used as a carpet underlay

Your talking about Regupol 4515 the difference is that Durabase SW uncoulpes because of its structure where Regupol doesnt I believ. The sound insulation factor is vertually the same only 1db in it
