Hi Guys,
Recently finished college and just starting out with a few small jobs to gain some more work experience and have come across a slight problem.
I'm tiling a floor from a hallway continuing through to the kitchen. The kitchen floor has vinyl tiles on top of a quite new concrete screed and the hallway has been taken back to the floor boards. If i use hardboard or backer board on top of floor boards, it will be higher than the concrete (once vinyl tiles removed and floor scraped and cleaned) in the kitchen.
Any advice of what can be done to make this level would be appreciated.
