Tiling over warm up temp probe

Sensor should be i conduit , embedded in floor, halfway between the heating element run, and about 300mm from the wall.
Thats how i do it anyway.

I always insist on Slc'ing over the mat/cables and most of the time the heating kit has a conduit so I fit that low down in the insulation board first. However, should a probe ever need changing, I'd be very surprised if I could feed the new one down the wall and right to the end of the conduit :yikes:

You just have to sure there are no right angles in the conduit.

You could buy a spare thermostat probe and fit it in the floor when you do the tiling. Only connect one up to the controller. In the event that this thermostat probe fails then it can be disconnected and the spare one connected without having to lift any tiles!

full of sh**, I loved warm up products, still do, but when they changed the goalposts, ie: did not supply the conduit, and changed their wording, I knew it was profit related.. shame on you WARM UP

Probably for profit, but has anyone ever tried or managed t replace a thermostat down the conduit?
it was a pain to feed down when it's in your hand

yes, that's why I only chased it in 100mm distance between the wires ;-)
