Tiling to walls in wetroom

Found this whilst looking at members of the TTA..

Check out the wet room with travertine... All tiling is to BS 5385..??

Nothing like a freshly plastered wall for natural stone :lol:

I can't remember how many times I've advised tile shops that plaster is not a suitable substrate for natural stone :mad2:.

So the subfloor is 25mm ply and then the former is built up from different thicknesses of ply glued and screwed down, then waterproofed. Whats the problem with that?

nah I think it is the skimmed walls Scottley that Dave is pointing out

I can't find a section on walls? only floors, but i didn't like the idea of shimmying down the ply thickness

got to be weight issues with the plaster walls

Yep, it is stone to skimmed walls.. Is that BS5385 standards, i think not...
