Tiling Under Kitchen Units

My son is getting his kitchen tiled soon, the units are on adjustable feet. If the tiles (and backer boards) are cut up to the kickers then they will be trapped. Would it be a good idea to let the tiles & boards run under them and then cut the kickers down in height a bit? I'm thinking that it would avoid quite a few cuts as well. Thanks

Only if the kitchen is not already fitted.

Take the kickers off & tile up to the feet then refit the kickers on top of the tiles.
You could tile the whole floor before the kitchen is fitted but that can lead to problems in the future if you ever change the tiles as they are a bugger to break out below the units.

Don't forget you need a carpenter to trim down the kick boards...

Instead of setting up the units 150 up...if that's the size of the plinth....set them up the size of the plinth plus baker board and tile.... Do you have a washing machine to fit under the worktop? If you won't rise the units and tile the floor and let's say cut the plinth down to 130 then your appliance may not fit under the worktop......that would be a big problem!

I think the kitchen is already in and it's just a new tiling job.
Therefore as 'beam' - yes let the tiles run to legs and cut plinths after. ( Carpenter optional )
The advice on washing machine and other white appliances is worth checking - the heights available.
