Tiling wall in pub toilet - Help!

I was wondering if anyone has experience of tiling in Pubs? Been asked to tile a wall above a urinal, (assured by customer it will be clean!) but I was wondering if I need to use a particular adhesive or grout other than what I'd use in a domestic bathroom?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Cement based flexible, powdered adhesive for me. The flexible part isn't essential I just use it for everything. Don't be tempted to use tubbed stuff.

Your adhesive choice will depend on the surface to be tiled, the size of the tiles and how soon after tiling will the toilets be commisioned!
Hopefully they will be closed when your working in there - but don't take it for granted - check.

Oh and don't forget the primary checks, sound substrate, no damp, no paint on the walls etc, and prime.

First 'commercial' job I've done so far, so wanted to make sure (as much as I can) that it goes well!

I've told customer that if there's damp from the cistern (above) that they'll have to get plumber in to rectify and allow time to dry before the tiles go on.
As for priming, was going to go for an acrylic primer? The sustrate is plaster, from what I can see it looks to be in good condition.
They want 6'' plain white tiles to match what I'm removing as all damaged/missing.
Intending to seal 'bottom' course at steel urinal with silicon bead.

Acrylic primer is spot on, sounds like you've got it all sorted.

Wow 6 inch white cant remember fitting them powder spf and polymer inhanced grout with sealer for me epoxy i hate and will cost more and take longer than tiling:smilewinkgrin:
PS remember not to lick your finger when sealing along top of urinal:lol:

Will definately not lick finger at ANY point when sealing Barry!
Still not sure on Epoxy Grout as never used it before so may go with enhanced grout and sealer?

Never seen epoxy used in a bog standard toilets.

Epoxy for work tops and food prep yes, for urinating on.....no

So would it be ok to use a 'normal' grout such as in a domestic shower/bathroom for this then?
