hi ed mate....

firstly you set out as normal...datum lines etc etc.....

Then once you have got your centre/starting point....you hang(fix) your first tile from this point and work down the the floor( bottom tile).
You then have one vertical row of tiles......you then mark the next bottom cut and fix, then go up with the tiles to the datum line..continue with each consecutive row, keeping to the datum line at all times.....you can tile the bottom half of a bathroom this way then you know the tiles will meet up and then tile the top half.....each room is different so you alter to suit the room....

got that mate, i knew you would come up trumps on that one. have you ever thought about launching your own dvds on tiling? seriously mate, i know a couple of guys who do the same with plastering and they are doing really well. obviously dan would be your agent of course ahem ;0)
