walked into a kitchen today and do you, do the same as I do, and start feeling the bounce in the floor with your feet. Floors got a bit of bounce in it I said, 'it's concrete' she said, 'What' I said

Anyway, turns out this floor as three layers of tiles on it and obviously something has become detached somewhere along the line. She asked how many layers I would remove lol, the lot, then just thought, I wonder what level the kitchens sat on, if I'm taking at least 30mm out wonder where this is going to leave the kickboards and cupboard legs? better cover myself when I quote this one. Do they do leveller by the ton lol

the legs should adjust down, thats if they have been tiled under, I always cut around the legs

allow for plinth and cutting/fitting
I had this vision of an inch gap at the top of the plinth, looks a pricey kitchen too. Pretty sure I was one of a long line of tilers quoting for this judging by the short time I was in the house, normally I can keep them talking for an hour min, lol
Still, got another quote confirmed today that I quoted two months ago which I assumed had gone the distance
