IvegotsTILE

Had a customer call today that I did bathroom walls for a few weeks ago.

She's about 30,is married and has a young baby, very pretty and owns a few companies.Husband is from Peru. She's a great customer.

She called to book me in for her bathroom floor,we chatted about our kids and what we'd been up to.
Then she asked "Can I ask for your advice Simon?
"Sure"
"If you saw texts on your husbands mobile which said"Have I done something wrong, why haven't you been texting me ***"would you think that suspicious."
:whatchutalkingabout :whatchutalkingabout :whatchutalkingabout I thought she was gonna ask about the colour of tiles.
"Yes that does sound a bit strange."

"Well he has cheated on me before and I'm not putting up with it anymore, next time he's in Peru he can stay there,I don't want my child growing up in that enviroment then asking me when she's older why I put up with it."
:huh2: :whatchutalkingabout :huh2: :whatchutalkingabout What the hell do I say to that,I'm her tiler not her best friend, there was a bit of an uncomfortable silence as I wasn't sure what to say.
"Your right,I should be fine to start in a couple of weeks,I'll give you a call next week bye."

Poor women is obviously finding it awkward to deal with but isn't it a bit inappropriate to tell me?
Have you had customers give you too much information, its not like your best mates or anything.

Maybe she's just using that as an excuse to get me into bed, unlike Raj and Wivers I'm a looker:grin:

probably would have taken the sensitive route myself something like, "thats terrible love, him cheating on you what a despicable thing to do and you here all alone aswell tut tut, anyway moving on, what do u prefer? ribbed or flavoured?

spot on!

Heh, she must be looking for some sort of stability and focus, poor thing. She's obviously distraught. Turning to the tiler seems a bit desperate though, I agree. There must have friends she can turn to.

On a side-note; distraught women tend to be very very easy, for the above mentioned reasons, and even more so if they were really scorned. It's not a particularly gentlemanly thing to take advantage of though, if I may say so, hehe.

That's just £50 then @ £25 an inch.

Plus materials £1 for three, so that's £51.
