As everyone has already said, it is just a matter of getting yourself out there and making sure that everyone you meet knows what you do.

Basically network with all tile and adhesive outlets and as many related trades as you can. It is worth spinning the "just moved to the area" line so as not to appear too "green".

When quoting jobs, try not to come across as desperate or niaive, just be confident and authoritive. When the customer asks how soon you can start don't be afraid to say that you have been let down by a builder/plumber/plasterer and therefore have a slot available in a couple of days. Tell the customer that you will drop the price by a few quid as a goodwill gesture for him helping you fill those few days at such short notice.
