TOPPS 3 buys before trade account

Hi

went into topps in liverpool to open a trade account...i was told i had to buy there 3 times before i could open trade account...does this sound right...cheers rich pts trained

Don't think it is normal practise, maybe just a local thing. Ring Topps head office and find out.

when i opened a trade account they said the same thing. the reciepts didnt have to be from topps they could be from any diy outlet as long as they had a vat number on them... try ctd in warrington for adh they are cheaper for some things than topps.... £13 bal white star with 12 1/2% free

Had something similar here...two receipts for over £50, one of which was from them one from anywhere.

I enquired at my local topps in Glasgow and was told the same that you had to make three purchases but they did not have to big ones . IE a sponge one day spacers another

I have a topps account, but rarely use them as they are too expensive. I get mapei products for half their price. And Bal grip is the only ain product they stock at my topps, a load of rubbish, goes off on your trowel and sets in the bucket. I had a customer who got three buckets two weeks ago, and all three were hard a third of the way down, rubbish gear IMO.
