This thread is in conjunction with another thread entitled http://www.tilersforums.com/pricing...please/35226-will-i-win-work-prices-like.html. I went back to Topps to enquire how another Topps Approved Fitter can charge such a low price. Obviously they do not care because the customer paid full whack for all tiles & materials. Topps love it when a tiler gives desperate quotes. I said that I would hope that Topps have fully paid up on their insurance policy, as this one may come back and bite them. Again, they do not care because they said they would claim on the tilers insurance policy! This was a new one on me. Basically there is no risk to Topps (unless the actual tiler goes out of business within the year).
So Topps charge customers £19.99 for an insurance policy that Topps do not even pay the premiums for.
Cheers
