I see Topps Tiles suffered a 18% drop in sales over the christmas season, bet they are still bloody expensive for there materials...:yes:

im not suprised i dont use topps much now only if i have to but i hear they do price match but most tile retailers do now

Topps Trade prices were dropped well before xmas and i think they are quite reasonable. Everyone has their preference.

In my experience Topps have always been the most expensive. If they halved their trade prices, you'd still find it cheaper. The only thing they're good for is their price match. Though as said above, most do that now.

not used topps for 2 or 3 months now. but there prices for BAL is cheaper than anyone else by far.

The only thing i use topps for is grout sponges,i dread going to a job where they have bought materials from topps as they tend to sell customers things they don't need and charge top whack for it.

As for bal stuff don't get me started besides bal white star they have'nt made a decent tubbed adhesive in years imho,bal grip is probably the worst tubbed adhesive i have ever used(ever),to be honest i would rather use unibond adhesive which grips nothing.

To be fair i did buy a pair of tile pinchers about 5yrs ago for £11 which i still use today,better than the £30 rubi pair i bought which broke on the first day of use.

I`ve used BAL for about 12 months now and not once had a problem with any of there products, use bagged addy most of the time.

Topps is nothin but a rip off far as im concerned, not bought anythin from them for over a year now, can get all my bal stuff (yes, the choice of the proffesional!) for at least four or five quid less and that makes a difference when you buy a lot of it.

Lad told me there have been huge price drops since i was last in.
Bal Green star is now only £5 something. Great! when would i ever use that?

Was in on Thursday taking a box of tiles back and was told their toppfix spf grey is now £9ish. Still using Mapei though as thats what i like.

I dont know what products your using from topps but as i said in previous post there BAL prices to me wont be beaten,and believe me i`ve tried to get price matches from other places and they wont.and i`m not trying to promote topps in anyway shape or form,because i`ll only use them for my adhesive`s..
