The job i was on today the customer had been to Topps and got two warmup underfloor heating kits. Well i layed the insulation board, and opened one of the boxes that was sealed to test it and it had some tiles and bubble wrap in there and no mat :yikes: So the customer phoned Topps to explain and they wanted to speak to me. I explained what had happend and gave them details of the tiles that had been put into the box. The guy said give me 10mins i will call you back. Within 5 mins he called me back and said they had just sacked a guy for nicking stuff and the tiles i discribed had been removed from an old display board. They replaced the mat..Thank got as i thought i was going to have a battle on my hands. :thumbsup:
 
haha - I bet he was going to blame it on a return but didn't get chance to. I clocked one of two twin brothers thieving from the till at Topps when only me and him were in so he was trying to make it look like it was me. So I ratted him in and they checked the other stores till where the other twin worked. They both got sacked weeks later. They were having hundreds a month between them apparently.

It's minimum wage staff handling expensive goods for you.

Pleased to hear the store acted quickly though!
