I mainly use Topps tiles, and they offer upto 30-40% I think on adhesives etc.

Disscount on tiles depends on the tiles in question.

All retailers are different, some give you more, some give you less, and you can always pay cash.
Places like this you always pay for your gear there n then, it's not like on the tick or anything and they bill you for it later, you pay there n then, but at a lower price because the idea is you'll be buying more and more often than the general public.

Hi mate , do you have a Tile Star in your area ? I opened a trade account with the one in Falkirk and all they asked for was a business card. They only do Mapei stuff though which i suppose is good if you fancy trying it , you'll never know whats good and what's not if you don't mix em up a bit....Scott

Scott cheers for that dont have a tile star but I'm in Falkirk often so could buy some and give it a try. How are you finding working with Mapei? have you tried Bal?

Is it Polmont young offenders your in :) I'm in Airdrie. Up the bairns!

I have managed to decline her majesty's hospitality so far although in my youth there are those who said I should go and visit fur a wee while!!

Mapei is okay but I'm keen to try some other brands , Dave from dh has guided me on a couple of questions so I'll pop into Topps and have a wee looksee

Ps I hope nobody misinterpetes the "up the bairns"bit !!....Scott....

Its a bit of a trek for you but Tilemania in Hillington Industrial Estate do a really good discount on their tiles. Between 15% and 25% dependent on the range. There materials are very reasonable as well. They only do Dunlop adhesives and grout. I have found them very good to work with. Apparently the stuff is made in the same factory as Bal. All I needed was a business card to open my account
