Trading Agencies NTR ever used them???

Hi

I've been approached by TNTR 'The National Trade Register' who claim that they are looking for tilers in my area. When i met up with them they told me that i was the 1st tiler on their book (Ha ha, yeah right) & they can get me loads of work, so much so that i will be turning it down.
And for a small fee of £387 for a year i will get loads of work, a web site & entrance in a local advertising magazine + i pay 15% of any earnings to them as commission.

Sounded good at first but i am very wary of these kinda people. I always thought i'd have to pay commission, but as for a joining fee??

Plus 15% it quite alot.....

Has anyone ever dealt with them or ever heard of them?

I have no experience with this company but as a general rule I steer clear of all cold calling companies like this. Customer Street is another one. Put the money you would spend with this company to better use e.g. Do a massive leaflet drop.

Dan has actually set up a thread to list the names of all these companies that call you and promise you the world, charging you large amounts of money and I expect the amount of jobs you will get from them will be few to none.

Never heard of them, but theres dozens of them srpinging up now, and frankly my view is their all a con, you'll probably never get a job through them and you've still forked out £400.
